Orlen is simplifying the price list for charging electric cars. New rules and lower prices

The new settlement model replaced the previous three price thresholds, which significantly simplifies the process of using chargers. As the company emphasized, drivers no longer need to analyze the power of chargers or compare prices.

There is one fixed rate for all DC connectors. The price of charging with alternating current (AC) remains unchanged and amounts to PLN 1.95/kWh.
Price reductions and simplification of rules
The updated price list brings real benefits for users. For DC connectors with power above 125 kW the price dropped from PLN 3.19/kWh to PLN 2.69/kWh, which means a reduction of 50 groszy. In the case of DC connectors with a power of 50 kW to 125 kW, the price decreased from PLN 2.89/kWh to PLN 2.69/kWh, and for connectors with a power of up to 50 kW the rate remained unchanged at PLN 2.69/kWh.
— We are simplifying the rules and actually reducing charging costs, because this is the key to the further development of electromobility, said Krzysztof Kaczyński, executive director for electromobility at Orlen, quoted in the press release.

Dynamic development of the Orlen Charge network
The price reduction is not the only change introduced by Orlen. The company is intensively developing its network of chargers, which currently covers over 1.3 thousand. points throughout Polande. New charging hubs have already been created, among others: in Nowy Dwór Gdański, Brzegi and Morzęcin, as well as on expressways, such as the Olsztynek Południe and Gruczno Zachód Passenger Service Areas.
At the same time, standalone fast charging stations are also being launched, equipped with two DC connectors with a power of 200 kW. Such points already operate, among others: in Przeźmierowo, Kalisz, Skwierzyna and Kraków.

Orlen announced that by the end of 2027 it plans to open several dozen more hubs and over a hundred new charging stations throughout the country.
