The average daily value of trading in shares in the order book amounted to PLN 2.63 billion and was 21.8% higher than last year. higher than a year earlier.

In March, the NewConnect market recorded an increase in the total value of trading in shares by 96.7%. y/y to PLN 302.5 million. The value of trading in shares within the order book on the NewConnect market increased by 89.9%. y/y and amounted to PLN 277.2 million.

The total volume of trading in derivatives in March was 2.4 million units, which means an increase of 19.4%. rdr.

The value of non-Treasury bond issues listed on the Catalyst market amounted to PLN 163.6 billion at the end of March, compared to PLN 133.4 billion in the same period last year. The value of bond trading on the Catalyst market as part of the order book increased by 48.7%. y/y, reaching PLN 832.8 million.

In March, there were eight debuts, including two on the WSE Main Market, one on NewConnect, four on the Catalyst market and one debut of foreign instruments on GlobalConnect.

The capitalization of 358 domestic companies listed on the WSE Main List amounted to PLN 1.1 trillion (EUR 257.3 billion) at the end of March 2026. The total capitalization of all 400 companies – both domestic and foreign – reached PLN 2.39 trillion (EUR 556.2 billion).

The total volume of electricity trading on the spot and futures markets was 15.8 TWh in March, which means an increase of 34.4%. rdr. The volume of electricity traded on the spot market increased by 10.2%. y/y to the level of 4.8 TWh, while on the forward market it increased by 48.7%. y/y to 11.0 TWh.

The total volume of natural gas trading increased by 13%. y/y, reaching 16.4 TWh. On the spot market, the trading volume increased by 11.9%. y/y to the level of 2.7 TWh, and on the futures market it increased by 13.2%. y/y to 13.7 TWh. (PAP Biznes)
