Residents of houses near Bogotolsky Lane complain about cracks due to reconstruction

1 April 15:40

At a meeting with the head of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Vereshchagin, residents of the Zheleznodorozhny district complained about the construction of Bogotolsky Lane. People fear that their houses may collapse due to large-scale excavation work that is going on close to the walls.

A resident of the house on Menzhinsky, 6 said that the excavation work came right up to their house. According to the woman, the ground is subsiding, cracks have appeared along the facade, which have also appeared in the ceilings. People are afraid that the house may fail.

Another problem affected the residents of the house on Novosibirskaya, 1. They will have to live close to the new three-lane road – the distance from the windows will be only five meters. At the same time, there are no soundproofing screens, and the adjacent parking lot will disappear. Residents offered alternative options for placing parking spaces, but they were not heard.

In addition, the townspeople pointed out errors in the project: storm drains were not taken into account, although the nearby New Life Street is flooded every year. And after archaeological excavations, the soil under the future road, according to the townspeople, was not properly compacted, which could lead to subsidence of the roadbed along with the houses.

Vereshchagin promised to send specialists to the site along with the contractor to understand the situation. He expressed doubt that the road, which residents had been waiting for so long, would be washed away after the first rains, but agreed to check.

The reconstruction of Bogotolsky Proezd is being carried out by the NBS-Sibir company; the work is planned to be completed by the winter of 2027.
