Bad weather in the Krasnoyarsk Territory continues to create difficulties for the work of public utilities.
The day before, two incidents involving garbage trucks occurred in the Emelyanovsky district. In one case, the entire village rescued the equipment from a snowdrift; in another, the driver had to rely only on his own skills.
The real rescue operation took place in the village of Gladkoe. The crew of the regional operator ROSTtech, following the route, got stuck in a deep snowdrift on an unclean road. The multi-ton vehicle could not get out of the snow trap on its own.
Local residents came to the rescue: caring villagers brought a tractor and an excavator. After a couple of hours, the garbage truck was rescued from captivity. Despite the forced downtime, the crew did their job – they unloaded the solid waste and set off further along the route.
And in the Eko microdistrict of the village of Solontsy, a multi-ton garbage truck could not climb the hill for an hour due to heavy ice – the car was constantly being pulled down.
The company notes that the responsible services were warned in advance about the problem area, but no measures were taken to eliminate the ice. It was possible to get out of a difficult situation solely thanks to the experience and skill of the driver.
ROSTtech expressed gratitude to the residents who did not stand aside.
“We express our gratitude to the residents of the village of Gladkoe for not remaining indifferent to the problem and providing assistance to the crew of the garbage truck. In these cases, everything was resolved successfully, and the vehicles, although with delays, were able to continue working along the routes,” the company commented.
Regional operator specialists remind: all cases of lack of access roads are recorded and sent to the municipality. As soon as passage becomes possible, the operator immediately sends the equipment. At the same time, according to Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 293, it is the owner of the container site who is obliged to ensure unimpeded access to the waste collection site.
