US President Donald Trump is considering further military options in Iran, and additional forces have been sent to the region. Donald Trump on talks with Iran. “A new and more reasonable regime”

On Monday, the president wrote on Truth Social that Americans are “in serious talks with the NEW AND MORE REASONABLE REGIME (in Tehran) to end” hostilities in Iran. He later said that the Americans were talking to the speaker of the Iranian parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and within a week it would be clear whether he wanted to cooperate with the United States.

Ghalibaf previously stated that Iranian forces were waiting for American troops to arrive on land to “set them on fire.” He believes the United States is planning a ground attack, despite publicly engaging in diplomatic efforts to end the war.
