Ukraine's allies with an unusual request. Concerns attacks on Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that some of Kiev's allies have asked Ukraine to limit attacks on Russian energy facilities due to the continuing increase in global oil prices.
“Recently, after the global energy crisis, we actually received signals from some of our partners to limit our actions targeting the oil and energy sector of the Russian Federation,” Zelensky said in a voice note sent to journalists, quoted by CNN.

The Ukrainian leader did not specify who made the request, but made it clear that Kiev was unlikely to take such action.
“I emphasize once again: if Russia is ready to stop attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector, we will not take retaliatory actions against this sector“, he said, adding that Ukraine is “ready for any ceasefire.”
