FC Argeș took advantage of the international break and played a friendly match with the second division Câmpulung Muscel, won by the team coached by Bogdan Andone (50 years old) with a score of 6-0.

FC Argeș is in 5th place in the Superliga, after 16 stages, and for Bogdan Andone's team there are two hot matches in the championship, with Universitatea Craiova and with CFR Cluj, both at home, as well as the match with Rapid, in the Romanian Betano Cup.

FC Argeș won the “friendly” with Câmpulung 6-0

Robert Popescu opened the scoring with a penalty kick in the 17th minute, and Garutti doubled the lead just 7 minutes later, setting up the half-time score. Franck Tchassem increased the advantage in the 51st minute and Kevin Brobbey took the score in the 67th minute. Kevin Doukoure closed the table with the successful “double” in the 76th and 89th minutes.

Bogdan Andone used all the players at his disposal in this friendly match.

FC Argeș had 5 players called up to the national teams:

  • Vadim Rață – Moldova

  • Yanis Pîrvu – Romania U19

  • Leard Sadriu – Kosovo

  • Mario Tudose – Romania U21

  • Esteban Orozco – Equatorial Guinea

Undefeated in September in the Superliga, Bogdan Andone was named the coach of the month in Gazeta Sporturilor's investigation, after 3 victories (2-1 with Metaloglobus, 1-0 with U Cluj and 1-0 with Hermannstadt) and a draw (3-3 with UTA Arad).

The objective established with Dani Coman at the beginning of the championship is clearly to stay in the first league, avoiding the last four positions that would lead to the play-off or direct relegation. That is the team's goal for this season. Of course we want more, we want to work, we want to enjoy football, the best matches, to make our supporters happy and we will see at the end of the regular season where we will be.
