In Krasnoyarsk, after the snow melts, all retaining walls, drainage trays and pipes will be checked, the mayor’s office reported.

Retaining walls are most often located next to residential buildings and serve to form local areas or parking lots, and are also structural elements of buildings. All of them must be checked, as well as the elements intended for drainage must be cleaned and put in order.

“Retaining walls, which are municipal property, have already begun to be checked. A repair plan for such structures has been formed for this season. Major repairs and other necessary work will be carried out this year at at least 5 large facilities:

• pr. 60 years education USSR, 21,
• near the non-residential building of school No. 137 on the street. Shipbuilding, 50,
• st. Pogranichnikov, 31a,
• st. Red Army, 18,
• st. Ada Lebedeva, 47a (Markovsky, 72).

A contractor has already been identified for them,” the mayor’s office explained.

In total, there are more than 300 retaining walls in Krasnoyarsk, of which the Department of Roads, Infrastructure and Improvement is responsible for 127 of them. Over the past 5 years, more than 100 retaining walls have been repaired in the city at the expense of the municipality alone.. This work will continue. In 2026, 73.4 million rubles are allocated for the repair of retaining walls.
