Ioan Vermeșan (19 years old), striker who plays in Italy, in the Primavera (youth) team of Hellas Verona, is a starter in the U21 national team. In Italy, Vermeșan has two senior appearances, one in Serie A, one in the Cup, both this season. Vermeșan was on the preliminary list for the qualifying round at the World Championship.

Dinamo's official explained the situation of the transfer of Ioan Vermeșan and talked about the club's plans for strengthening the team and identifying young talents, but also about the interest the club still has for Blănuță.
“It's a long way until the summer and it depends on what happens with Blanuță and with us. What striker does Romania have besides Louis Munteanu and Blanuță? It is difficult to identify something that comes after, with potential; I really can't think of a number 9 that in the future will be a very good product for the national team.
Vermeșan has become very expensive for the Romanian market; we made an offer and we didn't even get an answer to what we offered and it was a very good amount for Dinamo, we were reaching somewhere close to 1 million euros with bonuses and everything. They didn't even respond informally. They probably wanted at least double and there was no point in the discussion,” Nicolescu said on Digi Sport's “Footbal Club” show.
Vermeșan, Serie A debut
Ioan Vermeșan made his debut in Serie A at the end of December, when he came on at the end of the game with Sassuolo, score 0-3. After the debut, the striker was in the preliminary list for the match in Turkey, but was not called up, but continued his journey with the U21 youth team.

Ioan Vermeșan played at junior level in Romania at LPS Banatul, Poli Timișoara, Academia Hagi, UTA Arad and Ripensia Timișoara, before transferring to Verona in 2022 and is quoted at €600,000 by Transfermarkt.
