As of 10:28 p.m., the public noted that the massive drone attack had been going on for about two hours.
Locals reported smoke and fire from the school, which the UAV could have crashed into. According to eyewitnesses, a hum from the engine was first heard, and then flashes and explosions were seen from the direction of the educational institution. They reported about 20 explosions over the city.
At the same time, “ChP Taganrog” wrote that a Flamingo missile was fired at the city. At 23.02 he announced repeated sirens in the city.
“Residents of Taganrog report the most powerful attack on the city during the entire war with Ukraine,” noted the Russian publication Astra and published footage of the work of Russian air defense.
The media also showed footage of a drone hitting a local school. Astra claims that its OSINT analysis later confirmed this. The monitoring channel Exilenova+ noticed that the drone in the video is similar to the Russian Shahed.
The public distributed videos from Taganrog in which numerous explosions can be heard and the work of “the entire spectrum of air defense” over the city is visible.
The public also informed about the probable hit of a Russian air defense missile on residential buildings.
A series of videos from Taganrog was also published by the Supernova+ channel.
