Valeriu Iftime (65 years old), the owner of FC Botoșani, can't wait for the match with FCSB, which will be played on Friday, April 3, from 20:30, in the third round of the play-out.
Even if the Botoșani match will be a play-out game, Valeriu Iftime says that Becali's team is still creating a huge emulation.
He is convinced that absolutely all tickets will be purchased by Moldovan fans.
Valeriu Iftime, before FC Botoșani – FCSB: “No team in Romania can create this emulation”
“When we play this match, it's important even if it's a friendly. The number of ticket requests I have means that people want FCSB in Botoșani. After we failed with them in the play-out, a financial recipe with FCSB is good for anyone.
At the match with FCSB, all the tickets are sold, people don't understand that it's a play-out, play-off, they understand that FCSB is playing in Botoșani. That's why I think this brand needs to be protected, believe me. No team from Romania can create this emulation”, said Valeriu Iftime, according to sport.ro.
