No alcohol or drugs were found in the body of Alexander Lipatov, who threw his wife and baby out of the window in the Lefortovo Park residential complex. According to Mash, tests showed only traces of antidepressants and female postpartum hormonal drugs.
The man was transferred to a mental hospital from intensive care. He has psychosis – you can’t interrogate him yet. Lipatov fell into a coma on Sunday after the tragedy. Doctors connected him to a ventilator and brought him back to consciousness by evening. The patient complained of anxiety and fear.
According to him, the breakdown occurred due to lack of sleep and overwork at the bank, where he manages a team of clerks. I've been missing a lot lately at work on a new project. The day before the tragedy, Alexander imagined that he was being watched. Due to obsessive thoughts, he did not sleep all night. And in the morning I heard voices that said that his wife was a demon, and his child was the son of Satan, they needed to be killed.
Doctors diagnosed an acute psychotic disorder with signs of schizophrenia, complicated by impaired cognitive functions. Lipatov’s mental problems began 5 years ago in Barnaul – he was in a local mental hospital.
