“What happened? To be honest, this question is probably more for Katya, and not for me. I’m already an adult and, frankly speaking, I’m not used to bringing out some internal moments or nuances for public viewing. We gave more than 400 concerts together. We’ve come a long way, we had a strong creative tandem,” he said. “Now everyone goes their own way – and this, in principle, is normal.”
Gritskan emphasized that they have never been a group.
“Katerina Buzhinskaya is a self-sufficient artist, People’s Artist of Ukraine, who has always worked as a solo performer. I am also a separate artist, with my own repertoire and my own path,” he recalled.
When asked whether reconciliation was possible between them, he did not answer.
“As far as I know, Katerina is now continuing treatment. You know, I don’t really like to announce something in advance or talk about plans. And I’m pleased when they find out by the song, and not by some scandal,” he concluded.
Context
Buzhinskaya and Gritskan have been giving joint concerts for the last few years. In an interview with the online publication GORDON, the singer said in the fall of 2025 that she was offered to do PR on the topic of their alleged romance.
“We have a powerful team, but cooperation can be difficult because each of us is an individual, ambitious and a little selfish. In order for the tandem to work comfortably, compromises must be made,” she noted then. “There have always been proposals from journalists to do PR on the topic of the affair with Gritskan, because people like it, but we remain professionals.”
In early November, Buzhinskaya injured her eye and needed urgent hospitalization, but decided not to cancel the concerts and performed in dark glasses. “The contact lens caused a serious injury to the eye, which led to an infection. Therefore, I am temporarily unable to perform, work and, to be honest, I feel uneasy,” she wrote in December. – I underwent surgery, my condition is stable. There is a path of treatment and recovery ahead, which I am going through step by step with hope and patience.”

“My cooperation with Mikhail Gritskan is completed. Unfortunately, I encountered dishonesty. At the moment when one of the team members is sick and needs support, another person chooses the path of personal gain, goes over their heads, builds their own fame and even lures away my team,” she wrote. “They used me for their popularity.”
