BREAKING Mircea Lucescu was hurt in the training camp of the national team. The selector was taken to hospital in a stable condition

During the technical meeting preceding the last training before the departure to Slovakia, the selector Mircea Lucescu was hurt, announced the Facebook page of the national football team.

The first assistance measures were taken immediately by the medical staff of the national team, who gave him first aid on the spot.

“Following the call to the 112 emergency service, two SMURD crews rushed to the training base. The prompt intervention of the medical staff allowed the technician to be quickly stabilized,” the Facebook post said.

At this time, the state of the selector is stable.

“Nevertheless, according to the medical protocols in force and to eliminate any risk, Mircea Lucescu was transported to a hospital unit in the Capital for thorough investigations and specialized monitoring,” added the cited source.

Stoichiță: “He was hurt”

Mihai Stoichiță, the technical director of the FRF, gave GOLAZO.ro details about Mircea Lucescu's condition.

“He felt sick, he sat down on a chair and was unresponsive. The ambulance came and took him urgently to the hospital. They are on their way to Mogoșoaia,” said Stoichiță.

The selector's health problems come after a complicated start to the year. In recent weeks, Mircea Lucescu was hospitalized and chose to stay with the national team, despite the medical problems.

The friendly match between Slovakia and Romania will take place on Tuesday evening, from 21:45.
