Russian engineers have created an autonomous complex that makes water from air. Everything runs on solar panels and produces 4 liters of water. The theme is this: at night, the absorbent is saturated with moisture, and during the day, due to the increased temperature, it releases liquid.
The developer of the contraption told Mash that he came up with everything during Covid. Since the 20th, 4 test prototypes have been changed, and the engineers have brought the idea to fruition. The invention works without electricity, weighs 30 kg and occupies only a square meter. Everything is made from domestic parts, if you don’t take into account the electronics. The device lasts for 15 years and costs around 250k. So far they have tested it only in the steppe, but soon they will test it in a different climate.
