Hundreds of opposition members and supporters gathered in the city's central square, chanting slogans against the government and raising questions about corruption and the economic difficulties facing Hungary.
At the same time, according to witnesses, several men dressed in black acted organized to block the protesters' access to the stage, trying to control the event, according to Dialog
During his speech, Orban lost his temper and started insulting the protesters, accusing them of acting in the interests of Ukraine.

“You promote the interests of Ukraine! You want one pro-Ukrainian government and give the money to the Hungarians of Ukraine!”, the prime minister shouted as the crowd continued to chant against him.
Peter Magyar, the leader of the opposition and Orban's main rival in the upcoming elections, accused the authorities of bringing about “a hundred hooligans” in the city to put pressure on the activists.
“It is obvious that an attempt was made to intimidate the protesters by the presence of these organized individuals, while there was almost no law enforcement on the scene”Magyar said.
The incident marks a significant break in a city that has unconditionally supported Fidesz for decades, reflecting a visible shift in voter perception of politics and government corruption.
