The U18 national teams from Romania and Liechtenstein meet today, from 14:00, in a match of the preliminaries for the European U19 Championship 2027. The game from Clinceni will be broadcast in liveTEXT format on GSP.ro and on the YouTube channel FRF.TV.
In the first match in the group, Ion Marin's students won 3-1 against Andorra U18, in a match played in Clinceni.
On the other hand, today's guests lost 1-6 against the Danish U18 national team.

From 2026, UEFA has decided to change the competitive format for qualifying for the U19 European Championship. Thus, the road to that competition involves, from this year, 3 preliminary rounds: Round 1 (spring of 2026), Round 2 (autumn of 2026) and Round 3 (spring of 2027), according to frf.ro.

The tricolor U18s now, U19s from next season, have been allocated, based on the results recorded in the preliminary round 2 for UEFA EURO U17 season 2024-2025, in group B1 with Denmark, Andorra and Liechtenstein. 1st place advances to League A.
