The attacked ship landed on an Iranian island. Part of the crew is missing

The Mayuree Naree ship currently “lies aground off an Iranian island,” said Khalid M. Hashim, managing director of the company that owned the vessel, quoted by Bloomberg. According to Iran's state-run Press TV, the unit came ashore on the coast of Keshm Island, the largest island in the Strait of Hormuz.
In a separate statement, Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Panidone Pachimsawat said on Friday, March 27, that an Omani-Iranian rescue team had already reached the ship and a search was currently underway for the three missing sailors.
The remaining twenty crew members were evacuated shortly after the attack, which occurred on March 11 while the unit was transiting the strait.
Naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz
In March, Iranian authorities carried out a total of 21 attacks on civilian ships trying to transit the Strait of Hormuz. This list includes, among others: the Safeen Prestige ship, which today appeared on social media again with a video showing its burning wreck.
Currently, only five countries have received the green light from Iran to send their ships through the Strait of Hormuz. These are China, Russia, India, Iraq and Pakistan.
