In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, another minor was subject to criminal charges for dropperting

A criminal case was opened against a 17-year-old resident of Zelenogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, on suspicion of participation in a schemeillegal circulation of means of payment.

The police established that the girl found an advertisement about earning money in one of the instant messengers and followed the link. During communication with the “employer,” she was informed that her card would receive money transfers that needed to be transferred to other accounts. For this she was promised a small percentage of the transferred amount.

“The girl “worked” for four days: during this time, the scammers transferred 28,500 rubles through her card, paying 2,000 rubles for “services.” The victims were several people from different cities of the country: Saratov, Sevastopol, Novosibirsk. One of them, suspecting that he had been deceived by telephone scammers, contacted the police. Employees established that the transfer was made to the account of Zelenogorsk,” said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The girl is charged with committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Onthe execution, out of selfish interest, by a client of a money transfer operator of illegal transactions using an electronic means of payment at the direction of another person and (or) in the interests of such a person). The minimum punishment for this is fine up to 300 thousand rubles, maximum – imprisonment for up to 3 years. During the investigation, the defendant was given a measure of procedural coercion in the form of an obligation to appear. She is also being tested for involvement in similar crimes.
