In an interview with PAP, Burns admitted that he believed “the propaganda and lies present in the US, especially in conservative circles,” about Ukraine. — That they are racists, Nazis, that they do not believe in religious freedom, that they do not believe in Jesus, that they are atheists. It's all lies. “But it easily worked on people like me, strong MAGA (Make America Great Again) and Trump supporters,” he continued.
The pastor added that he is now convincing his interlocutors that supporting Ukraine is part of the implementation of the America First doctrine. — Because if we do not support Ukraine, Russia will use all means to take over Kiev and then attack Poland. It will take over the rest of Georgia, the Baltic countries. This is world war three. So we must ensure that the Ukrainian military has everything it needs to prevent American servicemen from having to fight the Russian regime in Europe, he continued.
Will there be an agreement between Russia and Ukraine? “Very Close”
Burns said Trump about three weeks ago told him over the phone that an agreement between Russia and Ukraine “is very close.” — Now President Trump will have to arrange a meeting of the presidents [Rosji Władimira] Putin and [Ukrainy Wołodymyra] Zelensky, he added. He supported a ceasefire and “long-term security” for Ukraine.
“I repeat it in the halls of Congress, I repeat it to the president and the national security adviser, I repeat it to every person in the government, for the sake of world peace, as a spiritual diplomat: Russia will try to take over all of Ukraine or install a puppet government that would increase Russian power and influence in the region,” Burns said, expressing confidence that Putin “is ready” to end the war.

The pastor also argued in an interview with PAP that Trump will soon end the war with Iran. At the same time, he said that “this is not a real war” and Trump does not need any help from NATO. – The USA is NATO. The president does not need any help from allies because we guarantee security. The First War is coming to an end and, despite what some media tries to suggest, we have 100% control over what is happening. They can destroy Iran, but they prefer to act with surgical precision – maintained the pastor.
