“It's hard to say which one is the most affordable, but I'm basing it on that”

Marius Lăcătuș (61 years old) was present at “Bologna Gala”the release of the film about the former international great, at Mall Băneasa. “Fiara” spoke about Romania's progress in the World Cup preliminaries and chose the opponent of the “tricolors” in the play-off.

He wants Ukraine, taking into account the fact that they play their home matches in Poland or Germany.

In addition, he is convinced that the experience of the Ukrainian coach Mircea Lucescu will help the “tricolors” to move on. The first dam takes place on March 26, and the next on the 31st.

Lăcătuș has confidence in the national team, despite finishing 3rd in the preliminaries and going to the play-offs thanks to the passage in the Nations League.

In his view, Romania must take the October match against Austria in Bucharest, won 1-0, as a benchmark. Then, the “tricolori” played solid football, Lăcătuș believes, and this must be repeated in the tie.

“It's hard to say which is the most accessible national team, but I can say the team I would like Romania to play with, I mean Ukraine.

Due to the fact that he does not play at home and, secondly, I rely on the fact that Mr. Lucescu knows very well Ukrainians and footballers from Ukraine or those who play abroad.

Let's hope we qualify, things go back to normal. I am referring to the match with Austria, which I particularly liked. I proved that it is possible, I didn't play against some team.

I had a very very good match. I think that's where the players should go from, thinking about what they have to do for the playoffs. Let's hope with all our hearts that there will be more matches. We will be with them, we will support them.

But the most important actors are them, those in the field. Regardless of what is said, I am sure that Mr. Lucescu will prepare the game exactly as it should, because with his experience there is no way to do it otherwise”, said Lăcătuș.

The players should put into practice what Mircea Lucesu tells them. I don't like to compare players, generations, teams. Each player, each team with its period, them. I wish there were more «Locksmiths»more «Hagi», «Bologna».

Time passes and the ones we remember and want to remember are always the ones who end up performing. Let's hope that this generation will be able to link the qualification from the EURO with another one at the World Cup.
