Russians are getting down to planning – and doing it noticeably more actively than a year ago.
Yota analysts studied the activity of Russians in time management services from the beginning of last year to March of this year and found that at the beginning of 2026, interest in them grew sharply: since January of this year, the traffic of such applications and sites has increased by 79%, while a year ago the growth was much more modest (up to 53%).
In addition, users began to spend noticeably more time in planners. The average session duration has increased by 66% since the beginning of the year, while a year earlier the increase was only 2%.
As the data shows, the planning process has a seasonality. Thus, users are most active in the spring: during this period, such services account for almost 80% of annual traffic. After winter, people are settling work and household issues and making personal plans using apps.
By the end of summer, interest drops sharply and remains at a minimum until the end of the year (3-4% of traffic). In January, everything starts all over again: by February, traffic grows by one and a half times, and by March – by more than four times. In addition, seasonality also affects the duration of application use.
At the beginning and end of 2025, users spent about 10-12 minutes in planners, and in the spring, at the height of productivity, this figure reached 48-87 minutes.
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Toggl became the absolute leader among planning services at the end of 2025 – it accounted for 73% of traffic and 61% of total usage time. However, in terms of the number of users, Microsoft To Do ranks first, accounting for 84% of the audience in the region. This is followed by TickTick (4%) and Singularity App (3%).
Most often, planning services are used by middle-aged Krasnoyarsk residents – 36-45 years old – they account for more than a third of the total number of users. They are followed by groups 26-35 years old (29%) and 46-55 years old (18%). At the same time, a smaller share of the audience (5%) is made up of users aged 14-20.
Among Siberians, the greatest interest in planning services is shown by Novosibirsk residents (40% of all users), Omsk residents (17%) and Krasnoyarsk residents (15%). Also in the top 5 are Tomsk and Kuzbass residents.
Men use planners more often than women—61% versus 39%. At the same time, men are more active in the spring, the most productive season, while women more often return to planning at the beginning of the year and in the summer.
