In Minusinsk, a false relative of an SVO fighter illegally received 2.9 million rubles and was subject to criminal charges. The regional prosecutor's office reported this.

According to the supervisory agency, the woman came to the military registration and enlistment office, identified herself as the sister of a participant in a special military operation, who was listed as missing, and gained access to his accounts. After some time, information that the attacker was managing the serviceman’s money reached his relatives. The fighter's real sister turned to the prosecutor for help.

The prosecutor did not wait – the materials were immediately sent to the police. The attacker was quickly found and detained, and a criminal case was opened against her.

The stolen funds, which the woman managed to withdraw from the card of the special operation participant, were found by law enforcement officers at her home and confiscated. The injured party was able to compensate the damage in full.

Now the investigation is deciding whether to choose a preventive measure for the suspect.
