The policemen from Dolj asked for the support of their colleagues from Argeș to track down a car in which there were three men from Bucharest, suspected of theft. The vehicle was observed on the high-speed road, and at the signals of the agents the driver refused to stop and sped towards the A1.

During the pursuit, the driver lost control of the car and crashed into three parked cars near the freeway exit. After the impact, the three young men ran into the field, being chased by the police, who fired warning shots to stop them.
The suspects were immobilized and the driver, who did not have a license and allegedly drove under the influence of drugs, was detained. The other two have been handed over to police who are investigating the robbery.
A similar case took place on February 18, when a 47-year-old man from Vaideeni commune, Vâlcea county, was detained after he got behind the wheel drunk and without a license and hit the special vehicle of a police crew. The police officers from the Horezu Road Squad performed a legal stop signal, but the driver accelerated and tried to escape, being chased for several kilometers before being immobilized.
