More than 230 flights were canceled or delayed at Japan's Shin Chitose Airport due to missing scissors.
The alarm was sounded by employees of a store located in a sterile area of the airport. They realized they couldn't find the scissors. For this reason, passengers who had already passed the inspection had to be inspected again.
The loss was found, but only a day later, where – it is not reported. The airport administration says that scissors are usually stored in a special box that is locked with a key.
