Two accidents occurred in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in which children were injured

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are clarifying the circumstances of two accidents on the oncoming traffic in the Emelyanovsky District, in which children were injured.
According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region, the first accident occurred the day before in the morning at 5 km of the Upper Biryusa – Ibrul highway. The 66-year-old driver of a Mazda Demio lost control and drove into a bump stop. He then drifted into the oncoming lane and collided with a Volvo with a semi-trailer. After this, the Mazda Demio collided with a fence and slid into the left ditch.
As a result of the accident, the driver and a one-year-old baby in the Mazda Demio were injured. The child was hospitalized.
The second accident occurred on the afternoon of March 23. A 40-year-old female driver driving a Nissan was driving from Berezovka to Yemelyanovo, lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where she collided with a Toyota.
A 46-year-old driver and a 12-year-old boy in a Toyota car were injured in the accident. The teenager was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. He required medical attention and was hospitalized.
“In relation to both drivers, traffic police inspectors compiled administrative materials under Part 4 of Art. 12.15 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of 7,500 rubles or deprivation of the right to drive for up to six months. “All the circumstances of the incident are being clarified,” the regional police explained.
