Hermannstadt prevailed against Botoșani, score 3-0, in the second round of the Superliga play-out. On Sunday evening, Aurelian Chițu opened the scoring in the 31st minute and managed to score for the fifth consecutive stage.

“We played really well and things worked out almost perfectly for us. We could have scored two or three more goals, I think, but the important thing is that we played well and got the 3 points. It is important, that after a long time, we got out of the direct relegation zone.
It wasn't easy, because I ran a lot. We were better today and deserved the win.”

Asked about the fight to avoid relegation, Chițu continued:
“I think we're on the right track and I hope we can keep it that way. I really enjoyed the game today and I think it was a successful game. If we continue like this, we have a good chance of saving ourselves directly.
If we don't make it, we'll go to the playoffs and try to win there“, said Aurelian Chițu, in a flash interview, according to digisport.ro.
