Dangerous microbes on biofilms were found in hand sinks, which can cause pneumonia and other severe, difficult-to-treat infections in people.The sink has the same level of dangerous bacteria as the toilet, said scientists from Flinders University:

Residential samples also showed higher levels of Legionella pneumophila bacteria compared to hospital samples.
