Next week may be the first week since October 2022 when the average domestic retail price of diesel will exceed the barrier of PLN 8/l – BM Reflex analysts forecast.
“The number of stations in the country where prices above PLN 8/l are increasing. Which, of course, cannot be a surprise, since the purchase price of diesel at a station on the domestic wholesale market is currently PLN 7.85-7.90/l gross. Everything indicates that next week the price of diesel at stations will exceed PLN 8/l gross for good. During the week (March 13-19), the price of gasoline on the European ARA market increased by 23 gr/l (USD 10/bbl), and diesel as much as 76 gr/l (USD 32/bbl),” the report wrote.
“Next week may be the first week since October 2022 when the average domestic retail price of diesel in the country will exceed the barrier of PLN 8/l and may also set a new historical record,” it added.
For the week of March 23-27, 2026, BM Reflex forecasts fuel prices at:
- Pb95 PLN 7.19/l (+0.29)
- Pb98 PLN 7.86/l (+0.29)
- ON PLN 8.19/l (+0.31)
- OOL PLN 3.59/l (+0.20)
