Recipient of the first in the Krasnoyarsk Territory regional maternity capital, issued in a proactive format, became the family of Anastasia and Sergei Khrenkov, who recently third child was born.

As the Ministry of Social Policy said, thanks to amendments to the regional legislation adopted two weeks ago, which simplify obtaining maternity capital, the process was quick, without filing applications and going through the authorities. A large family does not need to independently collect the necessary package of documents.Data on the birth of children is automatically uploaded to the Unified State Social Security Information System. Social security specialists independently monitor those who are eligible to receive regional maternity capital and issue certificates without parental participation.

“It was very unexpected when they called us and informed us that we had already received regional maternity capital. We, of course, knew about this measure of support and planned to submit a package of documents for it a little later. It’s great that everything was scheduled without our participation. We plan to use this certificate to improve housing,” shared Anastasia Khrenkova.

Let us recall that in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, regional maternity capital is assigned in two cases: at the birth of the first child by a woman under 23 years of age inclusive (in addition to the federal maternity capital) and at the birth of the third or subsequent child. In 2026, the size of regional maternity capital is 106,200 rubles and 196,470 rubles, respectively. The family will be able to use these funds to improve living conditions, educate children or their mothers, buy a car, rehabilitation equipment, repair a stove or electrical wiring, or receive an annual payment of 12 thousand rubles.

Measures to simplify the process of applying for certain benefits and payments for citizens, especially for families with children, are under the special control of the governor. Previously, within the framework of the national project “Family” and the federal project “State for People”, a proactive format of provision was introduced in relation to payments for twins, annual payments for schoolchildren from large families and compensation for them for replenishing basic trips on a social card.
