In Russia, regions were given the right to introduce a ban on the retail sale of vapes. The Parliament of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will begin to work on this issue, said Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Alexey Dodatko.
The speaker explained that deputies closely followed the discussion of this bill in the State Duma.
“Deputies receive many requests from residents of the region and from the medical community about the absolute dangers of such products. The trade has failed to clean up its act, and vapes remain available to minors. The law moves the decision-making center on banning the retail sale of vapes to the regions,” explained Alexey Dodatko.
He noted that he had instructed the deputies of the United Russia faction to work out the implementation of this opportunity in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. According to the law, the experimental regime will last for five years – from March 1, 2027 to March 1, 2032.
