Former Minister of Finance and the current parliamentarian Adrian Căciu said he would return the Mercedes GLE 450 to the company from which he rented it after the SNOOOOop investigative site discovered that the car is not in the declaration of wealth. PSD deputy Adrian Căciu went on vacation on Wednesday, June 18, on board a Mercedes 450 loaded with luggage. It is the image surprised by Snoop immediately after the final vote in the Parliament, in front of the house on the politician who gave it entirely to his ex-wife.
The scene takes place less than a week after the former minister had said he was giving up the luxury car, which costs over 100,000 euros. Car he was driving, but did not appear in his statement of wealth.
Budget negotiations
The story began on Friday, June 13, when the journalists of the SNOOOop investigative site noticed that Adrian Căciu came to the negotiations in which he proposed the “solidarity tax” aboard a luxury car.
Confronted by journalists, he initially stated that he had rented the car from a company. Over two hours, he added that the company is “of a friend”, which “is not related to the state”.
The journalists found out that the company was Pandorama Elite SRL, a company owned by the wife she has been divorced since 2010, Mihaela Panduru. In 2024, it appeared at the Authority for Financial Supervision (ASF).
The two had not made the sharing, and some of the goods were alienated by Panduru to June 2025, according to his last declaration of wealth.
“The car was returned and I will go by taxi until I get a car in leasing,” Căciu said on Friday, asked by Antena 3.
Pandorama headquarters, at home
On Sunday night, two days after the publication of the article and the announcement of Adrian Căciu, the Mercedes GLE 450 was parked in front of the address where Pandorama Elite SRL is.
The Pandorama headquarters is also the address in the center of Bucharest where Adrian Căciu lives and childhood. Pandorama is a company owned by the Panduru family, Mihaela having 49% of the shares. With zero employees, it had a turnover of 47,000 euros in 2024, more than twice less than the value of the car.
It wasn't the only car that was parked in front of the house. There was also a Dacia Duster car with registration number with the same termination.
Former Minister of Finance in the Government of Ciucă and Minister of European projects in the Ciolacu government had a Dacie Duster, which he sold several years ago, a fact recorded in the declaration of wealth.
The Mercedes Gle 450 car remained parked in front of the house for several days, in which Căciu did not use it to move to Parliament.
