New Action distribution center in the Dunikowo Business Park has an area of 44 thousand. m and will serve up to 180 stores of the chain both in Poland and Germany – according to the announcement.
According to the company, the new center will create approximately 400 jobs in the long run. Currently, the facility employs approximately 150 people. This is the fourth distribution center of the Action chain in Poland.

“The Dunikowo Distribution Center provides us with an excellent central location to serve the growing network of Action stores in Poland,” says Jens Burgers, Supply Chain Director at Action, quoted in the press release.
“Energy-saving solutions used in the building include photovoltaic panels for heating water and generating electricity, smart energy and water meters, LED lighting inside and outside the building, and electric car charging stations,” the company adds.
Action is getting started in Poland
The chain opened its first store in Poland in 2017 in Leszno, and currently has 453 locations throughout the country and employs over 6.8 thousand. people. Last year, the company's CEO Hajir Hajji announced further Action investments in our country.
Action belongs to a very quickly growing segment of the so-called non-food discount stores – and competes with, among others, with Dealz, Kik, Pepco and TEDi chains. Action ended last year with 3,302 stores in 14 countries and opened three new distribution centers in 2025. This year, the company intends to enter two new markets – Croatian and Slovenian.
