The US responds to rumors of interference in SAFE. This is the position of the Department of State

Last week, President Karol Nawrocki vetoed the bill implementing the EU SAFE reinforcement mechanism. Earlier, together with the President of the NBP, Adam Glapiński, he presented his own proposal – “Polski SAFE 0 percent”. A draft law on the Polish Defense Investment Fund has already been submitted to the Sejm, which provides for the creation of a fund financed primarily from the profit of the National Bank of Poland.
The president's decision is strongly criticized by the ruling camp and questions arise about Karol Nawrocki's motivation.
