Funpark “Bobrovy Log” will host the Siberian Power Show 2026 festival

March 19 10:52
Krasnoyarsk Funpark “Bobrovy Log” will for the first time become the main venue of the international festival Siberian Power Show, the general partner of which is Norilsk Nickel.
The festival will take place March 27-29 and will be part of Beaver Log's 20th anniversary celebrations this year. The Siberian Power Show will bring together athletes from Russia, Africa, Europe and North America.
“The Beaver Log Funpark will bring together real extreme power stars and the strongest people on the planet. The event program includes the NAP Open World Cup in powerlifting, extreme strength competitions among amateurs and professionals, an arm wrestling tournament that will take place right at the top of the K1 cable car, ice climbing competitions, a mountain race and much more,” the organizers promise.
The Arctic region of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be represented at the competition by Artem Mironov, an employee of the industrial safety department of Norilsk Nickel. The Norilsk resident is already the owner of many titles: the absolute bench press champion of the 2021 NAP World Championship, bronze medalist of the 2024 Strongman World Championship, multiple winner and prize-winner of arm wrestling competitions. In 2025, Artem Mironov set a strength record by dragging a 21-ton dump truck; he also holds the Krasnoyarsk Territory record in the parallel bars press with a weight of 105 kg, set at the Siberian Power Show of previous years. This year the athlete plans to participate in extreme disciplines of lifting logs, Atlas stones and other equipment weighing more than 100 kg.
Also performing at the festival will be the team of the Norilsk Power Sports Federation, which has already repeatedly announced itself at the Siberian Power Show. Last year she won the team competition at the World Cup of the National Powerlifting Association – 42 medals arrived in the northern capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This time Norilsk athletes will again perform in triathlon, parallel bars, biceps curls, military press and others. As Maxim Koptelov, president of the Norilsk Strength Sports Federation, said, there are nine people on the team, including two girls, and the youngest participant is only 17 years old. Now the Norilsk team is actively training to once again show a decent result.
Guests of the festival in “Beaver Log” will experience the first record in the trackpool discipline – snowcat traction. This new direction of extreme power will be born before the eyes of the public. Two athletes from Abakan, Dmitry Voronetsky and Petr Martynenko, will try to move a machine for preparing ski slopes weighing 7430 kg using cables. To make history in strength sports, they need to cover a distance of 4.5 meters in 90 seconds.
We would like to add that Bobrovy Log has been consistently supporting sports for many years: more than one generation of champions have trained here, students from Krasnoyarsk sports schools regularly train, and Russian championships and Cups in winter sports are regularly held. Siberian Power Show is a new page in the sports history of the Funpark, built in Krasnoyarsk by Norilsk Nickel in 2006.
