Inter is already working on the summer market, after the club's management, in agreement with coach Cristi Chivu, decided that it is time for a substantial addition to the squad.
Corriere dello Sport writes that Inter will focus in the summer mercato especially on players who already know the Italian championship. And advance two names that Cristi Chivu and the club bosses put on the list. They are Argentinian midfielder Maximo Perrone, 23, from Como, and Norwegian international Leo Skiri Østigård (26), currently at Genoa.
Dan Șucu wants 12 million euros in exchange for Leo Skiri Østigård
As for Perrone, the situation is more complicated. He arrived at Como in the summer of 2024 on loan from Manchester City, and was then bought at the end of last season for €13 million. Problem? Naples is also interested in him, and the “citizens” must receive 30% of the resale amount, which could raise his price considerably.
In the case of Østigård the situation is clear. The club patronized by Dan Șucu told the Nerazzurri that they want 12 million euros in exchange for the former central defender of Napoli. Another target for Chivu this summer is to bring back Stankovic brothers Aleksandar and Filip on 'Giuseppe Meazza'.
Inter have a buyout clause for Aleksandar Stankovic
Last summer, when he was transferred to FC Bruges, Inter took 10 million euros in exchange for Aleksandar Stankovic. However, it has a redemption clause valued at 23 million euros.
“The Nerazzurri coach is tempted by the possibility of working with him again at Inter, but at Appiano and not at Interello, for purely tactical reasons. Chivu intends to use a midfield line with two defensive midfielders“, writes the same Corriere dello Sport.
Finally, Filip Stankovic, now at Venezia, is targeted to replace Yann Sommer between the sticks. The Swiss is out of contract this summer and will not be renewed. For this position, Inter is also considering Guglielmo Vicario, Radu Drăgușin's teammate at Tottenham.
