The former first lady of the US Michelle Obama arrives on Wednesday night in Bucharest, as she will participate in a business and technology event on Thursday.

Boarding Pass, a site specialized in aviation news, announces that Michelle Obama, the wife of the former US president, will arrive at midnight in Bucharest, News.ro.
It flies from Providence (USA) to the capital of Romania with a private Gulfstream G550 plane. The flight is operated without a stopover and lasts for almost eight hours and 15 minutes.
According to the organizers, the former first lady of the United States will participate in a moderate discussion during the second edition of the Business and Technology Impact Bucharest, which takes place from September 17-18.
Michelle Obama will attend the event on Thursday, from 4 pm.
The second edition of Impact Bucharest will provide an opportunity to listen to the opinions of experts from various fields and to connect business leaders from all over Europe.
The organizers say that approximately 2,000 participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Albania, other See countries, Poland and the rest of Europe are expected. This year, in addition to experts and business leaders, several representatives of the public sector in Romania and Southeast Europe – including mayors, government officials and employees of European agencies will be present.
Discussions will be held about economic development, innovation and the benefits of connecting local, regional and global ecosystems for Romania and region. The topics on the agenda include: cyber defense and security, green transition, digitalization, future cities, developing global economy and banking sector, leadership, health, marketing and digital trade.
