Rostelecom became a digital partner of the qualifying stage of the All-Russian Cybersport Student League – 2026, which was held in Abakan at the site of the Khakass National Museum of Local Lore named after L. R. Kyzlasov.
The event was organized by the Khakass Republican Branch of the Russian Computer Sports Federation and the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the republic.
To hold the competition, Rostelecom deployed a modern optical infrastructure: expanded communication channels and adapted telecommunications equipment. This allowed the participants to show spectacular games, which were watched in real time by hundreds of viewers on streaming platforms.
“Such events require significant technological resources. We are pleased to create conditions for the discovery of talent in e-sports and provide the technical basis for holding IT events in Khakassia,” said Denis Zinoviev, Deputy Director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Rostelecom.
The All-Russian eSports student league is held annually. This season its prize fund will be three million rubles. The competition is held in three stages: regional, zonal and final.
“120 students from colleges, technical schools and universities took part in the regional competitions in Khakassia. The team of the Khakass Technical Institute, a branch of the Siberian Federal University, won the right to compete at the zonal stage. We believe in the success of the guys and hope that they will demonstrate a decent result and reach the finals of the cyber league,” said Denis Shpigalsky, chairman of the Khakassian Republican branch of the Russian Computer Sports Federation.
