Dennis Man was the hero of the evening in the Champions League, scoring two goals and producing an outstanding performance in the victory scored by PSV Eindhoven in front of Napoli, score 6-2. Former Manchester City and national team goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon (38) analyzed his progress on the GSP Live Special.
Dennis Man was named MVP of the game by most Dutch publications. Costel Pantilimon has the same opinion.
Costel Pantilimon, on Dennis Man: “He has regained his appetite for football”
“The match against Austria was a trigger for him as well, to get his confidence back. It wasn't just the goals that mattered tonight. He was active, involved, and for the first goal he had an important contribution.
You see him as a player with a zest for the game, who he regained his enjoyment of playing football.
The national team needs players with high morale. It will be at least an easier game, maybe the one against San Marino, but the one with Bosnia will be crucial for us.
You need a Man, Mihăilă, Hagi or Dragomir, who brought balance and positive energy to the national team,” Pantilimon said in the GSP Live Special show.

Pantilimon also spoke about Ionuț Radu: “It was an inspired choice”
When asked if Ionuț Radu deserves to remain the goalkeeper in the national team, the former Manchester City goalkeeper was blunt:
“It is important that we have a goalkeeper in a strong championship, who showed confidence in the last match. In the last 10-15 years, Romania has always had good solutions between goals, and that is gratifying.
Mr. Mircea Lucescu was inspired by the choice made. We hope that Radu will maintain his form, because he has finally arrived in a stable environment after so many loans. He looks good, he's in shape and I hope he keeps it as long as possible”, said Pantilimon.
