The marketing agency that belongs to the Barcelona forward is facing serious financial problems. The company's business partners complain of months-long delays in paying invoices, and management has officially admitted that Lewandowski's firm has lost liquidity.
The Stor9 company has been operating since 2017, and at first it exclusively dealt with the image of Lewandowski and his wife, Anna. Over time, the agency expanded its portfolio and attracted important collaborations, including with actress Malgorzata Kozuchowska and tennis player Hubert Hurkacz, becoming a relevant player in the Polish marketing market.
Growing debts and tensions with partners
However, in recent months, the situation has visibly deteriorated. A journalistic investigation by zero.pl has revealed that the company is facing considerable debts. Several partners claim that they have been waiting for months for payment for the services provided, and in some cases communication with company representatives has become difficult or even non-existent.
The outstanding amounts range from a few thousand to tens of thousands of zlotys (the national currency), and the grievances have also reached the public space. Numerous comments from creditors appeared under the company's social media posts, with some of them warning that they would go to court if the situation was not resolved. Moreover, including a debt recovery firm demanded an urgent response from the agency.
The official reaction: “We lost liquidity”
Stor9 director Anna Zielinska confirmed the financial difficulties and explained that the company is trying to turn things around: “We have lost liquidity, but we have signed settlement agreements with our partners and are gradually paying off our obligations. We are operating as normal and are absolutely fair.“
She also stated that Lewandowski is informed in detail about the company's problems. According to the football player's communication manager, he has not been involved in the current management of the company until now, but the current situation has led him to intervene.
Thus, the Polish striker asked for a full financial audit to be carried out in order to accurately assess the scale of the problems and to decide on the necessary steps to stabilize the company.
