White sneakers get dirty easily, and regular washing doesn’t always remove gray deposits and stubborn stains. In such cases, a simple manual cleaning composition helps.
For the mixture, take 1 tablespoon each of baking soda and toothpaste, add 2 tablespoons of dishwashing detergent and mix until smooth. The result is a soft cleaning composition with a slight abrasive effect.
The mixture is applied with a brush, paying attention to the socks, seams and soles. After treatment, the residues are washed off with water, and the shoes are dried at room temperature.
Baking soda helps remove dirt, paste refreshes color, and dish soap dissolves grease and street dust.
This mixture is used not only for shoes – it is universal against many contaminants. Suitable for cleaning:
- light sole, laces and eco-leather
- plastic surfaces and window sills
- sinks, tiles and kitchen backsplashes
- plaque on mugs and kettle
- yellow coating on white sockets and switches
Before use, it is better to test the composition on a small area, especially on delicate materials. The method does not replace professional cleaning, but allows you to quickly refresh things and surfaces in your home without extra costs.
