Farul Constanța and Unirea Slobozia Draw 3-3 in Friendly Match

Farul Constanța, currently in 6th place in the Superliga, drew 3-3 at home against Liga 2’s 19th-placed Unirea Slobozia during a friendly match on Saturday morning.
This match provided head coach Ioan Ovidiu Sabău an opportunity to evaluate several young players from the Hagi Academy, with six athletes born after 2008 participating.
The players included goalkeepers David Barbu and Emre Taș Baran, along with field players Ianis Podoleanu, Andrei Oancea, Matei Berchez, and Antonio Minescu.

Notably, young Andrei Oancea, born in 2008, scored during the match. Farul dominated the first 30 minutes, scoring twice and nearly securing a win with a goal from Gavrilă in the 79th minute, according to the Farul Constanța application.
Veteran Denis Alibec, aged 35, sealed the final score in the 90th minute with a header from close range, finding the net past Rusu.
Lucas Pellegrini, the French player, made his return to the field after a six-month absence.
Goalscorers for Farul against Unirea Slobozia included Oancea in the 42nd minute, N. Popescu in the 75th, and Alibec in the 90th, while Ventura scored in the 13th, Bobal in the 30th, and Gavrilă in the 79th for the visitors.
The line-up for Farul was: Barbu (46 Baran) – Maftei, Larie, Traore, Țicu – N. Popescu, Podoleanu (63 Pellegrini) – Sylvestre, Oancea (70 Minescu), Berchez (46 Păcuraru) – Alibec. Substitutes included Pellegrini, Telehoi, and Avram.
For Unirea Slobozia, the team consisted of: Uțiu – Todoran, Stănică, Serra, Marian – R. Lazăr, Rimpa – Necșulescu, Ventura, Grădinaru – Bobal. Additional players included Rusu, G.Lazăr, Szilágyi, Iancu, Gavrilă, Bălan, Gîrbăcea, Niculae, Mirică, and Incă. The coach was Ilie Poenaru.
Looking ahead, Farul Constanța will face Petrolul at home in the 11th round of the Superliga, while Unirea Slobozia will visit Șelimbăr in the 9th round.
