Ukrainian drones struck a refinery and a port in Russia's southern Krasnodar region between Friday night and Saturday, causing injuries and damage, local authorities said in the morning, according to Reuters.

In a statement published on Telegram, Krasnodar authorities said three people were injured in an attack on the port of Kavkaz, which transits grain and liquefied petroleum gas and is located in the Kerch Strait, opposite Crimea.

According to the statement, a service vessel and the wharf complex were damaged.

Authorities said in a separate statement that a fire also broke out at the Afipsky oil refinery in the region after a drone struck the facility.

Russia's Defense Ministry claimed to have shot down 87 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 31 over the Sea of ​​Azov and 16 over the Krasnodar region.
