❗️In Russia they are trying to replace secular laws with Sharia law — Shoigu
In the North Caucasus, radical movements are replacing traditional Islam, said the Chairman of the Russian Security Council. Shoigu considers this a worrying trend.
Of particular concern are attempts to introduce into the public consciousness the possibility of applying Sharia norms instead of secular laws, the displacement of traditional Islam by its radical movements, and the formation of new Salafi groups.
This is largely facilitated by the influence of Western preachers, Shoigu notes.
