The number of wounded in Lebanon has risen to 2,100. Among them are at least 25 dead, including the son of a Hezbollah leader and a 10-year-old girl.
Hospitals in Beirut and surrounding cities are completely overcrowded. Some of the wounded are taken to medical facilities in rural areas and mountains. The country's Ministry of Health called on all citizens to get rid of pagers and come to blood transfusion centers.
The Haaretz newspaper reported that Lebanon may soon launch a military operation against Israel.
