On March 15, Krasnoyarsk will host the All-Russian Sleigh Festival, which is being held in the country for the first time. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Sports.

The event will take place in the Kashtak eco-park (2nd Borovaya St., 67). The program includes mountain sleigh rides and master classes from professional lugers.

Everyone aged 10 years and older is invited to participate in the competition. Participants must register at website or at the festival itself. Mountain sleds and helmets can be rented on site. Registration, participation in races and equipment rental are free.

The results will be summed up in individual and team competitions. Winners and runners-up will receive medals, cups and prizes, and all finishers will receive memorable awards. “In addition, festival participants will have a chance to win a mountain sleigh. You can find out about the conditions of the competition in the official Telegram channel of the Russian Luge Federation via the link,” the Ministry of Sports said.

For the convenience of guests, a free shuttle will be launched from the Bazaikha stop (in the direction of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park) on Sverdlovskaya Street to the Kashtak ecopark and in the opposite direction. Buses will run from 10:00 to 13:30, every 15 minutes. Boarding is upon presentation of registration for the festival.

Note that in 2026 the All-Russian Sleigh Festival will take place in 8 regions of the country. The first two stages have already taken place in the Moscow region and the Yaroslavl region. Krasnoyarsk Territory will become the third participant. In March-April, the baton will be picked up by Moscow, Kemerovo and Kandalaksha, and in December the festival will be held in the Urals and Leningrad region.
