When does Trump think the war will end?

The president has so far claimed that there is no evidence that Russia supports Iran by providing intelligence needed to strike US troops. He also claimed that even if this were the case, it would not matter because the Iranian military was being “decimated.” His envoy, Steve Witkoff, reported that the Russians assured the US administration that they were not doing this, and although he is not an expert in this field, “you can take their word for it.”

Trump talked about Iran and Ukraine. He denied the drone issue

In an interview with Fox News, Trump noted that Ukraine pays for American arms shipments. When asked, in turn, whether Ukraine helps America defend itself against Iranian drones – as indicated by the statements of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and reports, among others, New York Times – Trump denied this was the case.

— No, we don't need help defending against drones. We know more about drones than anyone else. We have the best drones in the world, he assured.

Speaking about the war in Iran and his calls for Iranians to rise up against the regime, Trump admitted he understood why it didn't happen. At the same time, he expressed hope that this would happen later.

— You just told me about a group of people walking around with machine guns and shooting at them, saying, “If anyone protests, we'll kill them in the street.” “So I think that's a big hurdle for people without guns to overcome,” Trump said. “I think it's a very big hurdle, but it's probably going to happen, although maybe not right away,” he admitted.

When asked when he would know that the moment had come to end the war, Trump replied: “when I feel it (…), when I feel it in my bones.”
