The aftermath of the Israeli attack
The statement emphasized the solidarity of the Persian Gulf countries and the fact that each assault on one of the GCC members is an attack on everyone. A meeting of the Military Committee of this organization was also announced.
On Monday, not only GCC leaders, but also the League of Arab States and the organization of Islamic cooperation met in Dosze. The summit was convened after the Israeli Rail on Tuesday on Tuesday, September 9. The purpose of the attack was to kill the leaders of the political wing of Hamas residing there, but according to previous reports, none of them died.
Qatar together with Egypt and the USA is one of the intermediaries in the monthly and fruitless conversations about the truce in the Gaza Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasizes that killing Hamas leaders will accelerate the ending of the war for nearly two years. Qatar accuses Israel that he sabotages negotiations through the attack.
Dissatisfaction with an Israeli attack was also expressed by US President Donald Trump, who emphasized that Israel must carefully deal with a runny nose, who is a “great ally” of the US.
On Tuesday, Doha is to visit the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who talked in Jerusalem on Monday with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Rubio did not comment on the Israeli attack directly, but he expressed the hope that he would not prevent the nose to continue the role of a mediator in conversations about the truce. He also confirmed the full US support for the security and sovereignty of Qatar.
The AP agency commented that the result of the Monday peak in Dosze is largely symbolic. Arab and Muslim states due to the difference of views did not decide on any specific actions to Israel, e.g. closing the airspace or weakening of diplomatic relations by those countries that maintain relations with it – the agency assessed.
