Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at the Victoria Palace on Thursday, where he met with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, as part of the official visit that the leader from Kiev is making to our country.
The Romanian government previously announced that there will be an official meeting between Prime Minister Bolojan and the President of Ukraine.
“On the agenda of the discussions there will be issues concerning bilateral and European cooperation”, the Government said.
Earlier in the day, President Nicușor Dan and Volodimir Zelenski signed, at the Cotroceni Palace, the necessary documents so that Romania and Ukraine become strategic partners, the highest level of collaboration between two states. In a press conference, at the end of the event, President Nicușor Dan emphasized that with this declaration the states “assume mutual trust, common responsibility for this part of Europe, for its citizens and the entire region”.
