From April 13 to May 12, restrictions on the movement of heavy vehicles will be introduced in Krasnoyarsk.

As the mayor's office explained, this is necessary to preserve roads during the spring melting period – the soil thaws and heavy vehicles can simply push through it.
The restrictions will not affect buses, military equipment, emergency services vehicles, as well as vehicles transporting road construction materials, removing waste or delivering socially significant goods – food, fuel and feed.
In addition, the administration reminded that the ban will also apply in the summer during extreme heat. If the air temperature rises above 32 degrees, the asphalt softens, and the additional load leads to deformation of the coating.
